Some moments in life are so sweet, they deserve to be savoured forever. For us, one of those moments was when Christy Grimshaw, Scotland’s own midfield dynamo and captain of AC Milan Women's 1st Team shared our delicious Scottish Tablet with her teammates.
The result? Instant love. Smiles all round. And a little piece of Scotland winning hearts in Italy.
Born in Kirkcaldy and raised in Stonehaven, Christy’s journey is the stuff of inspiration (which we Scots love!). From playing with Aberdeen at just 17, to crossing the Atlantic for a football scholarship in Miami, to a season in France and finally signing for AC Milan.
In 2024, she made club history as the foreign player with the most appearances for Milan Women and was named team captain. That’s not just skill; that’s leadership, heritage, and heart. Go Christy!
